The Redcliffe Peninsula is located just 35 minutes from the centre of Brisbane - Queensland’s Capital City. The City of Redcliffe is only 37 square kilometres in area and has approximately 50,000 people residing on the Peninsula.
The Redcliffe Peninsula contains seven suburbs: Redcliffe, Margate Scarborough, Woody Point, Clontarf, Kippa-Ring and Rothwell. Each suburb has attractions and qualities that draw many regular day-trippers, interstate and international visitors.
Redcliffe boasts a magnificent marine park with glorious views across to Moreton Island. A variety of water sports are enjoyed on the bays and fresh seafood is always on the menu at the many local restaurants and cafes.
As a tourist destination, Redcliffe offers visitors a variety of leisure pursuits such as charter fishing, diving, whale watching or just strolling along the waterfront promenades. Woody Point, Margate, Redcliffe and Scarborough are extremely popular for swimming beaches, fishing spots and great picnic areas.
As the Redcliffe Peninsula is centrally located it offers easy access to the many exciting tourist attractions that the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast’s have to offer. As well as being only 35 minutes drive to Brisbane’s domestic and international airports and Brisbane’s Central Business District what more could you ask for?
